I have given this blog a title which I'm not crazy about and a picture which I am even more skeptical about. I'll save an explanation of the title for another post but the grainy picture lifted from google I would like to defend now.
Eventually, I hope the banner picture will reflect my travels and current location but that's a little hard to achieve when you haven't gone there, or anywhere, yet. I'm hoping it will change almost as soon as I get to my first destination -- Costa Rica. I'm leaving for Washington D.C. tomorrow and going from there to Costa Rica on the 7th. More information to come on the genesis of this trip, but for now let it suffice that I'm traveling to Costa Rica, alone, for the next 2 1/2 weeks to teach and learn Spanish, explore the country, and learn how to travel and experience in a totally foreign place.
Got to go now, but more to come soon, really.
(Unless I decide to not take my laptop to Costa Rica, in which case this first post might be a six month tease until the return of this blog in the summer.)
Either way, hopefully further posts will follow sooner rather than later.
